Biography: Anne-Marie is an expert on all aspects of international travel having worked in the industry for 30 years. She has worked with World Travellers Queenstown for 18 years and has truly earned the reputation as a top Senior Consultant. She consistently receives accolades from her large client base that appreciate the knowledge, expertise and commitment she brings to each client. Her wealth of experience has certainly established her as one of the top consultants in the country.

Anne-Marie has travelled extensively through Europe, North & South America, Pacific Islands, Australia and parts of Asia and her favourite holiday destination is anywhere warm with a clean beach and a cold Sauvignon Blanc!

Biography: Sally grew up in rural England and travelled extensively in mainland Europe as an adult and lived in a small ski town in Austria.  Sally worked as a tour guide escorting backpacker groups around mainland Europe on the extensive rail network; this was a great opportunity to learn about the history and culture of many places as well as the geography and logistics of getting around. “After so much time spent in hostels I now prefer the comforts of luxury hotels!” (Sally Mackaness).  Sally also spent 12 months working in tourism on the East Coast of Australia and travelled through WA before settling in New Zealand in 2004. With family in tropical North Queensland this is a place close to her heart and it’s a great place to visit many times. She has visited USA and driven from Utah to Florida, also visited Lake Tahoe area and San Francisco in California. Highlights have to be the Reno Rodeo, America’s 4th largest rodeo.

Sally has recently travelled on educational trips to the Cook Islands, Fiji, Hong Kong, USA and the UK and is about to embark on an ocean cruise educational as part of her qualifications towards becoming a top Cruise Specialist!

Biography: Amber grew up in Central Otago and from there has travelled to a vast number of countries including Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji, Rarotonga, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Australia, and the USA.  Amber spent a few years working in the frontline tourism industry of Queenstown before switching to her true passion which is international travel. Amber’s areas of expertise are South Pacific, South East Asia and special interest tours.

Amber comes from a family of avid motor sports fans and has been known to spend her holidays at the Bathurst 1000 and loves organising packages to her favourite sporting events!  Sunshine and beaches are a must for travel according to Amber but her favourite place to visit is Sa Pa in Vietnam, trekking into hill tribe villages and spending the night with the locals, soaking up the atmosphere, the cuisine and culture!

Biography: From trekking in the Himalayas to chasing leprechauns in Ireland, drinking until she falls over and gets back up again at Oktoberfest to 5 star luxury in Thailand or cruising in the South Pacific. Resident Aussie, Victoria (Tori) is slowly ticking off items from her bucket list with gusto!  Having visited almost 30 countries, Tori loves the more adventurous destinations including Paraguay, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, South Africa and Argentina and is well established as our intrepid world traveller, keen to get off the beaten track and tread the path less travelled.  A keen foodie, wine connoisseur, shopping bargain hunter and lover of all things travel, she also enjoys the finer side of travelling and is just as happy in a luxury day spa in Thailand as she is in a mud bath in Africa!

As the manager of World Travellers Queenstown, Matt is at the forefront of this dynamic business, ensuring it remains the leading travel company in the Southern Lakes Region. Matt is driven to ensuring World Travellers Queenstown continues to provide high quality service, products and delivery second to none.  After seven years on the frontline as a Senior Consultant in the tourism industry and manager of a busy office in Queenstown, Matt joined the World Travellers team four years ago and since then travelled to many destinations including, Vanuatu, Singapore, Borneo Malaysia, Thailand, China, Australia and North America.  Matt has an extensive background in ecological research and wildlife management which is a far cry from international travel, although he says his background has taken him to some amazing locations which most people can only dream of. Highlights are definitely Orangutans and Proboscis Monkeys in Borneo and hiking the Appalachian Trail in North America following the annual Raptor migrations!
